What to wear on Vacation – Listen up boys!
by MeyMey (January 4, 2007) The beginning of the Christmas season signifies the end of a tough month of work and of course a well deserved vacation. I’m going to talk to you about beach wear and if some of you boys out there aren’t hitting the swim-up bars and white sand beaches, you still better read up and be prepared for when indeed your time soon comes. For some of the stud muffin men out there, a vacation is just an excuse to take your suits off and show off those great bodies. And no I’m not talking about showing off those abs in the nude, I'm talking about donning some hot swimwear, grabbing a boogie board and hitting the beautiful white sands. And although you won't be wearing much, you will be noticed! So don’t even think twice about not looking your absolute best. Follow my hottest trends for men’s vacation beach wear for your winter getaway 2006 and be the sexiest man on the water and on land. I don’t really need to say this, but just incase there are some real fashion foreigners reading, I’ll be specific. Leave your Nike’s, or any running shoes for that matter, at home. Get into some hip but not too trendy sandals. It’s truly quite simple. The latest styles are easy and comfortable so you can take them with you wherever you go and they absolutely will not burn a whole in your pocket. I’m a huge fan of leather flip flops that have a wooden sole. Something about them says well crafted and they’re beautifully stylish to boot. Of course your standard rubber flip flops or thong sandals work wonderfully as well and look great. Just do me a favor, stay away from those corny Velcro sandals! Yikes is all I have to say. By far, swim suits are the most popular style of beach wear. Hawaiian and ethnic style swimming shorts are in style and I personally love that cute surfer look (and a lot of ladies do too!). What’s great is that those funky swim shorts can be rocked with a cute t-shirt on a regular hot day-aside from actual beach activities. Don’t be afraid to go a little shorter this holiday season. Men’s swim wear has become altogether sexy and it’s officially cool to wear a fitted swim suit on the beach. Dolce & Gabbanna makes a mean swim suit boys. Look into it. Get into sleeveless! Do not be afraid and show off those great arms in a stylin’ sleeveless top. This will add a great touch to your almost there beach wear look. If you have a body you prefer covering up, or on the less than lean side, a regular collard shirt will do and it is breezy and light enough so you don’t have to worry about overheating. Plus these shirts can work in both day and night. After a day at the beach, you can take that hot lady you met on the sand to that cute restaurant on the water just after the sun goes down, and you’ll still look great! And lastly, what’s a vacation getaway to a hot resort without a sleek pair of shades? Aviators, rap around oversized shades, rimless…all definitely acceptable and great looks for your fun in the sun vacation. A great pair can really make your outfit, so don’t over do it and follow my guide to the hottest trends for looking great this holiday season. You’ll thank me later, trust me! - Meytal Algranti About the Author
